Fully vaccinated and ready to break a sweat? Ditch the mask at these Covid-19 vaccine bubble workout classes in Hong Kong
If you dread working out with your mask on, Hong Kong’s new vaccine bubble scheme will allow you to exercise without one on—as long as you’re fully vaccinated. Announced on June 22, the government has relaxed social distancing measures for those who are fully vaccinated under the vaccine bubble scheme.
Under the scheme, gym-goers, trainers and staff who are fully vaccinated (referring to those who have received both doses of the vaccine for at least 14 days) are exempted from wearing masks during exercise classes if all persons in the room are fully vaccinated.
Ready to workout? Here are the exercise studios that are currently offering vaccine bubble classes in Hong Kong.
Barre 2 Barre
Grab your grip socks and make your way to Barre 2 Barre for an intense barre workout. The studio currently offers two vaccinated classes a week on Wednesdays and Fridays.
On Wednesdays, vaccinated students can sign up for the Express Bounce Cardio class where you’ll spend 45 minutes on a trampoline for a high-cardio, low-impact full-body workout. At the end of the workweek, the studio has a special vaccinated Barre Power Stretch class that incorporates your favourite barre exercises with deep stretching, relieving any tightness in the body.
