The hand weights add a new challenge to your yoga practice, the cardio burst get your heart pumping and blood flowing and the core exercises keep you focused and centered.
What should I expect from a Yoga Sculpt class?
Expect a challenging, upbeat and super energetic yoga practice. Yoga Sculpt classes are challenging yet flexible and modifiable to all levels. You will be pushed, you will sweat, your heart will pump faster yet you will feel stretched, relaxed and rewarded by a sense of accomplishment. The class will start by preparing and opening the body with targeted poses, asanas, and exercises. A signature Yoga Flow sequence is introduced allowing the practitioner to ease into the flow and poses which will later evolve with variations and weight training intervals.
Core targeted sequence blocks are strategically woven in the class to give an active recovery where you are still working and moving yet allowing the heart rate and breath to settle. Once ready for the next signature Yoga Flow sequence it starts again.
The class will finish with releasing and restorative poses followed by a well-deserved Savasana.
