Hello! I’m Leah, a Dancer, Yogi and now Lagree instructor here in Hong Kong. I’m from the UK and have been living in this vibrant city for almost eight years. I originally came here to freelance as a dancer and have been fortunate to have danced my way all over Asia for some pretty awesome brands. Along side dance, I fell in love with Yoga and have been on the path of spirituality for around five years. If I’m not singing or dancing, you can find me at the beach or outdoors on a hike!
DO YOU REMEMBER YOUR FIRST MEGA CLASS, WHAT WAS IT LIKE FOR YOU?
A good friend of mine told me about a class she took at H-Kore and how she had never experienced a workout quite like it before, so she invited me to join her… that was around three years ago, and all I can remember is the shake!
ANY ADVICE FOR NEW STUDENTS WHO ARE FEELING NERVOUS?
Advice for new students is to arrive early, ask any questions you have and to trust your body! H-Kore is a very friendly studio with many people around to help :)
WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE MEGAMOVE?
I love a good lunge! I think a super lunge is my favourite because it works so many different muscle groups at the same time… or a J-Lo, love the burn!
HOW HAS THE MEGAFORMER CHANGED YOUR BODY?
It has given me a deeper understanding of what the body is capable of. Sometimes our brain tricks us in to thinking we are at our limit when actually we have way more to give. I guess it’s taught me that I’m stronger than I think I am physically and mentally.
WHAT SORT OF MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO? WHAT 3 SONGS ARE ON REPEAT?
I love all music! Some good old 90’s R&B tunes will normally be on repeat!
FAVOURITE THING TO DO IN YOUR DOWNTIME?
To be outside in the Sun, with a good coffee or glass of wine!
